Me, pulling up to my daughter’s school next to a guy getting into his new-ish Chevy: I like your truck. It looks damn nice.

Chevy Man: Thanks. *smiles*.

Chevy Man then turns the key in the ignition and the engine sputters/refuses to turn over for ten seconds. Chevy Man stops trying.

Chevy Man just sits there, doesn’t try to start the truck again until I had walked into the building.

It still was a nice-LOOKING truck.

I so wish I could swear back at them. If I ever win the lottery (I guess I’d have to play it to win it, whatever), I will not quit my job. Instead I will be fired for swearing at them.

Hah, always happends at the worst of times. I was at a highway reststop with my sis, get in, turn the key, nothing. not even a slight dimming of anything to signal any power drain, just no action. Well then, some banging at the starter+solenoid later to see if that’s the issue i use one of the jumper cables to jump the solenoid with the constant live on the starter and it fires up.

All while some 2-3 people were standing at the next car over looking really confused...
